Community Players' Production History 

Godspell - Summer 2000

Directed by Andrew Sharp, Godspell was the inaugural production for Community Players.

Cinderella - Summer 2001

Chris Simonson directed this production in Community Players' second season. 
Fiddler on the Roof - Summer 2002

Directed by Susan Calnin, the story of the people of the tiny town of Anatevka was the third show presented by Community Players.
Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat - Summer 2003

Directed by Jean Birkett and Nancy Keegan, Joseph rocked the Community Players stage in the summer of 2003.
Oliver - Summer 2004

Suan Calnin directed this story of Charles Dickens' little hero for Community Players.
The King and I - Summer 2005

For Community Players fifth anniversary year, Jean Birkett and Nancy Keegan directed "The King and I."
1776 - Summer 2006

American history came alive onstage as Heather Simonson directed "1776" for Community Players.
West Side Story - Summer 2007

Director Andrew Sharp brought the Jets and the Sharks to the Community Players stage.
A Christmas Carol - Winter 2007 & 2008

Jean Birkett adapted the classic Dickens story for a Community Players Holiday presentation that she directed with Nancy Keegan in 2007 and Susan Calnin directed in 2008.
Into the Woods - Summer 2008

Director Cheryl Crook brought the stories of what happened to fairy tale characters after the "Happily Ever After" to the stage for Community Players.
Raise the Roof Variety Show- Spring 2009

The newly christened Richland County Performing Arts Center, located in the historic old Richland Center Municipal Auditorium building, was in dire need of roof repairs.  The members and friends of Community Players organized a variety show to raise money for the cause.
Man of La Mancha - Summer 2009

The impossible dream of Don Quixote came to life under the direction of Andrew Sharp in Community Players 10th summer production.
The Best Christmas Pageant Ever - Wnter 2009

Six poorly behaved children are touched by the spirit of Christmas after they are cast in the annual church Christmas pageant.  Dora Johnson directed this family favorite for Community Players.

 First Annual Corey Bobb Memorial Scholarship Benefit- Spring 2010
To honor a talented friend who passed away on October 21, 2009 and raise money for a scholarship to be presented in his name, Community Players members and friends presented a variety show review that featured music, comedy and more capped by a dramatic singing of "Seasons of Love" by the entire ensemble.
Peter Pan: The Musical- Summer 2010
Peter and the Darling children soared above the RCHS stage and drew record crowds for CP's 10th anniversary show directed by Andrew Sharp.
A Christmas Survuival Guide- Winter 2010

This compilation of humorous Holiday musical vingnettes was directed by Will Buros at the Richland County Performing Arts Center.
A Farewell Tribute to Peggy Veith - Spring 2011
As a fundraiser for the Corey Bobb Memorial Scholarship Fund, CP Members and Friends gathered to pay tribute to Peggy who is leaving the area.  Peegy was involved with CP and other area musical theatre productions for years.
Annie - Summer 2011
America's best-loved orphan wowed record crowds on the stage at the RCHS Auditorium under the direction of Susan Calnin.
Adventures of Santa Claus - Winter 2011 
Will Buros Directed this show and wrote portions of it, showcasing the big guy in the red suit.  CP donated all proceeds from the show to local charities and collected over 500 items for the local Food Pantry.
The Sound of Music - Summer 2012 
Heather Simonson directed the show as we transported the audience to 1930s Austria where the Von Trapp family enchanted us with The Sound of Music!
 The Crucible - Summer 2013 

  CP Alumnus Donald C. Hart directed our first non-musical summer production, bringing Arthur Miller's Tony Award
  winning drama of the Salem witch trials to life.  The Crucible was a powerful story that had a strong impact on
